Description

  • Heft type: slim terugverend
  • Ergo Pull-schuifregelaar vermindert spanning
  • Compatibele mesjes: 10526, 10528
  • Vingervriendelijke rand blijft 11x langer scherp
  • Vermindert blessures, verlaagt de kosten
  • Vonkvrij, niet-geleidend mesje
  • Ambidexter ontwerp
  • Chemisch inert mesje roest nooit
  • Verwisselen van mesje zonder gereedschap
  • Minder verwisselen van mesje = minder verwondingen
  • REF # 10558

    • Hi Michelle - please let us know how we can be of help - what specifically did you not care for on the 10558 Smart Retract - we are assuming the actual Smart Retract functionality? In which case the Auto-Retract or Manual versions would be better for your application -- please let us know as we want you to have the correct tool for the correct job - thank you!

So far the shop likes them. The blade seems to have a tendency to come off of its track when their is force applied during the cut.

Not made for left handed people.

    • Hi Kristine! Thank you again for your order off our website! The 10558 is ambidextrous-- you would need to flip the blade over to make it left hand friendly. :) You can see how to do this here: Slice 10558 Smart-Retractable Utility Knife
      Thank you! //SLICE TEAM//

Did not work for our operation.

    • Hello:
Thank you for taking the time to review our tools.
We wanted to follow up on a few things:
Handle style: It looks like you’ve tried the Smart-Retracting Utility Knife. Automatic retraction is preferred by many safety managers, but we also make a Manual Utility Knife, with four preset cutting positions. We’d be happy to send you a complimentary Manual Utility Knife to try out.
Cutting ability: Our blades cut most of the same materials as traditional blades, and are successfully installed in thousands of manufacturing facilities around the globe—they’re used by more than half the Fortune 1000. While our main motive is safety, we don’t sacrifice efficiency or quality in our design.
We find that most issues can be addressed with better training on how to use the tools and what to expect from the blades. With traditional blades—which are dangerously oversharpened—many people have come to expect a blade that is far sharper than necessary. More information on that here: Why Are Slice Ceramic Blades Initially Less Sharp Than Metal Blades?
If we can learn a little more about your application, we’re confident we can get you cutting safely and efficiently. Sometimes a different blade tip is needed; sometimes the user is inadvertently holding the handle incorrectly. If you could provide a detailed account of the material you’re cutting, or, even better, a photo or video of the cutting, we can help you pinpoint the issue and find a solution. Thank you!

Plus d'informations à ce sujet ici: Why Are Slice Ceramic Blades Initially Less Sharp Than Metal Blades?

It does what it claims. It would be very difficult to cut skin with this knife, yet it makes a workable cut in cardboard. I expect our minor injuries to go down dramatically. Learning about this product made the trip to NSC expo worthwhile.
